Categories of Bolt motor-vehicles

1. Technical condition of the vehicle:

— The vehicle must be in good technical condition.
— You must have all the technical inspection certificates, insurance and the motor vehicle card.

2. Places and doors:

— The car must have at least 4 seats for the passenger and 5 doors (including the car trunk).
— 3-seat vehicles can be used in Tallinn only for the Basic category.

3. Conditioner:

— The vehicle must have a conditioner or climate-control system.
Here is the light version of the requirements for different Bolt service categories:

### Bolt category (Tallinn)
— Year of manufacture: 2013 or later.
— Preferable models: golf-class (e.g. Toyota Auris, VW Golf).
— Trunk volume: at least 350 l.

### Bolt category (Tartu)
— Year of manufacture: 2011 or later.
— Preferable models: golf-class.
— Trunk volume: at least 350 l.

### Bolt category (other cities)
— Year of manufacture: 2006 or later.
— Preferable models: golf-class.
— Trunk volume: at least 350 l.

### Basic category
— Year of manufacture: since 2006 through 2012.
— Small cars with 3+ passenger seats are acceptable.

### Premium category (Tallinn, Tartu)
— Specific models only.
— Body type: sedan or SUV.
— Leather seats.

### Comfort category (Tallinn)
— Year of manufacture: 2017 or later.
— Sedan, SUV or estate cars are acceptable.
— Premium category vehicles are also acceptable.

### Comfort category (Jõhvi, Narva, Pärnu, Viljandi, Rakvere)
— Year of manufacture: 2011 or later (with possible exceptions).
— Body type: sedan, SUV or estate cars.
— Trunk volume: at least 350 l.
— Leather or half-leather passenger compartment (for some vehicles exceptions are acceptable).

### XL category
— Year of manufacture: 2011 or later.
— Body type: minibus.
— At least 6 passenger seats and the car trunk for 6 baggage units.

### Assist category
— Shall meet all the Bolt category requirements
— At least 4 seats.
— A space for a wheel-chair
— The driver must complete a special training.
— A child safety seat is a must-have.

### Child Seat category
— Compliance with all the Bolt category requirements.
— A child safety seat meeting all the standards is a must-have.

### Tesla category (Tallinn)
— Only Tesla vehicles (Model S, 3, X, Y) are acceptable.
— At least 4 seats.

Note: Bolt can reject the motor vehicle that does not meet the service standards and requirements.
